For the final closing shot of my video i decided to put a shot of the actor sat on a rock inside the cove looking out into the distance to show that he had found peace and freedom within himself at the cove. The final clip of lip-syncing is used to show that because of his new found peace that he doesn't care about what people say now as he is confident in himself hens the show of his two middle fingers to the camera as the shot pans out.

I then placed this shot with a slow motion affect on it on the words "Act like you know me" to ask a question to the listener if they really do know the true side of the artist or not, the shot of the actor allows the video to come back to reality.

For this section i have inserted a lot of text to pan the lyrics across the screen as they are getting sung to allow the audience to get a full understanding of the song and see what the words mean with the emotion of the actor behind them.

For This section of the video i have put a long shot of me stood in the distance on a post looking into the distance and dramatically grabbing my hat of my head and shaking my hair free to show a symbol of him breaking free as he feels comfortable in his environment.
The music then changes in speed as the chorus kicks in so for this part of the music video i have placed two shots of me rolling down the hill while smiling at the camera to show that the actor is starting to feel free and is able to express himself, i then have a shot of me running down a path and jumping and clicking my heels i have done this because the music in the background is quite energetic so it matches the mood of the music.

I then linked the next shot with a fade to black transition, I have done this because the video goes from a shot of the landscape to a shot of me again, so the fade to black symbolises a change in setting. The next shot is an image of me sat on a cliff edge as it slowly pans to a shot of the water where i'm looking out at in the distance. I have done this so that it gives me a blank canvas to put text over the shot of key lyrics in the song "i gotta learn things" this connects with the audience and show that i am deeply thinking about life.

I then added a cross dissolve to link to the next shot, which is a shot looking down of the cliff to the rocks below with text over the top reading "Gotta see what it feels like" i have included this shot as it shows a calm sea breaking onto the rock and it sets a calm tone.

I have used the side ways drift animation on the text so that it smoothly glides on and off the shot, with the Sign painter house script font as it looks similar to handwritten text making it looks like the text is taken from the lyric page its self.

I then used the circle open transition to return the video back to shots of me, i used the circle open effect as it is almost like the audience is being brought back to the shots of me instead of the first person view that they saw on the previous shot. This shot then cross dissolves to a shot of me inside the cove walking along the waters edge and staring out into the ocean, followed by a ripple effect that is used to make me disappear and reappear behind one of the rocks, the ripple effect is very effective as it symbolises the water that is in the shot.

After this i used a cross dissolve transition to transition to the next shot of me continuing to run down the path and jump over a puddle, however for this shot i positioned the camera at a low angle to experiment with different camera angles.
After this I cut to another shot of me running in a different location towards a rock which ended in me jumping off the rock, however as i left the rock I  used a cross dissolve again to change to a underneath shot of me jumping off the rock to again try new quirky camera angles, i then used another cross dissolve to return to the original shot, which i feel made a really good effect.

In todays session i was able to use an image stabiliser on one of my shots, i also added some more transition effects to shots and some text on some other shots.

Image Stabiliser.

I had to use the image stabiliser on one of my shots because i wanted to slow the clip down to 22% however because the original clip was a very fast clip so the image was just one big blur, the image stabiliser removes some of the blur to make the image visible.

Today I did my first experiment with slow motion in my project, to do this i used the clip editor that comes with i movie, and i changed the speed of my shot to 30% so that my jump would match the drop of the music, after the slow motion i placed the remainder of the clip un edited to make the shot flow back into normal speed instantly to show the change of pace in the music.

In today's editing session I have managed to add 3 new shots into my piece and 2 new transitions.
The first shot that I have added is a shot i have used to show my lip sinking skills and show i am able to put a piece of video over sound that matches. I have added a cross fade and a cross dissolve transition, I have used the cross fade to cut from a lip sinking shot to a shot of me walking into the cove, I have done this as it is shows a small change between scenery and outfit. I have used the cross dissolve to cut between two different shots of me walking down the steps of the cove, I chose to do this as it shows a passage of time allowing my audience to see me getting closer to the water in the bottom of the cove.

For this section of the video i have two similar shots walking by the waters edge, so i decided to link the shots with a ripple effect to symbolise the water, but it also adds a very nice image of me teleporting from one side of the shot to another. On the second shot there is a break separating a section, in the separated section I have slowed the clip down as i throw a rock into the water, I felt like this was a very nice visual effect so decided to keep it in.

I then used a fade to white transition to show the video shifting to a shot me me lip syncing. My next show shows me from a distance stood on the edge of the cove with my arms up showing me embracing the nature and worlds beauty, halfway through this clip I used an overlay effect to cut back to a shot from the beginning of the video, to show the audience that my artist has changed from what he used to be.

After i had all of this in place i began to start creating my video carefully selecting my shots to get the shots with the best quality in them, Using i movie allows you to see all of your shots in a collection underneath the place of editing allowing a simple selection process.
I have managed to already today put 3 shots into my music video, with transitions in-between shots and i have used a correction tool on the programme to change the look of some shots.
On the shot of the cove i have used the correction tool to add a yellow tint to my image, i have done this because the weather when we shot this shot was very dull and i wanted a little bit more colour in the picture. In this case i have added some more yellow than normal into the shot making it look like there is a nice glare of sun on the cove. For my first transition i have used a cross zoom, This transition zooms into the previous shot while cross fading to the next one, i have done this to make it look like we are having an in site to the actors mind and looking at the cove through his eyes in the next shot.
In the transition between the next shots i have made it fade to black, this is to show that we are going back to following the actor around and we are not inside his head anymore. I really like this transition as it is a very smooth and simple change of shot.
I have also used the yellow tint on the next shot of the actor walking, as i wanted the shot of the cove and the actor walking to match so that there was a definite link between the shots.

Today I have managed to import my shots on to the editing programme "I Movie" This is a very simple yet effective editing software that is simple to use and doesn't take to long to adapt to
After importing my shots I downloaded the song "i'll show you" to my computer and imported that onto my project with the simple drag and drop tool available.
